The 990 EVO offers enhanced sequential read/write speeds up to 5,000/4,200 MB/s1, and random read/write speeds up to 700K/800K IOPS2, reaching 43% faster than the 970 EVO Plus 2TB. Wait less for games and access big files quick.
1.Sequential and random write performance was measured with Intelligent Turbo Write technology being activated. Intelligent Turbo Write operates only within a specific data transfer size. Performance may vary depending on SSD’s firmware, system hardware & configuration and other factors.
